TCD celebrates Foundation Day

Team Clean Dimapur (TCD) celebrated its 2nd Foundation Day on Monday, at Lotha Hoho Ki, DC Court Junction, Dimapur. 

Exhorting the gathering during the celebration, Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) administrator Moa Sangtam congratulated the team on achieving another milestone upholding the responsibility to create a clean environment and cleaner Dimapur. 

Sangtam mentioned that the TCD was the first team initiative that involved community participation and he lauded the team for sustaining itself this far. 

He also encouraged the team to continue to contribute to society and strive towards their mission. Sangtam encouraged the team to look forward to better years ahead by working together in unity. 

Dimapur Urban Council Chairman Federation (DUCCF) vice president, Z. Kapfo also congratulated the team on celebrating their second Foundation Day. He also encouraged the team to uphold their motto “Towards a cleaner and greener Dimapur”. Furthermore, Kapfo encouraged the team to work in peace and unity. 

An activity report of the TCD was delivered by TCD member Jenbu Rongmei where he highlighted activities and contributions towards the mission of the team over the years. He also maintained that TCD began in on April 1, 2017 under the initiative of the DMC. 

The program was chaired by Esther Ngullie; the invocation prayer was offered by DABA associate pastor Imnatoshi Longkumer and a song “People need the Lord” was presented by Ardo Pfükha. 

Later, a vote of thanks was delivered by Azo Wetsah, which was followed by a mass prayer.
