A Mass Rally propagating accessible elections for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) was held on April 1 in Zunheboto.
DIPR, in a report, stated that the rally was held under the initiative of the DC and DEO Zunheboto as part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program in collaboration with Social Welfare department Zunheboto. During the rally, wheel chairs and T- shirts were distributed to disabled persons.
AEO Zunheboto, Nathan Konyak also demonstrated the use of EVMs and VVPATs to the disabled persons. DC Zunheboto Shanavas C, thanked all the people present at the program and encouraged them to be strong, confident and accept challenges.
