DC Tuensang warns HoOs

DC Tuensang, Mohammad Ali Shihab, has issued an order where he noted that many Heads of Offices (HoO) under Tuensang district were found absent from their place of posting without prior permission which has greatly hampered the electioneering process. According to DIPR, the order stated that such negligence of duties by the officers is being viewed very seriously, particularly at a time when the entire state machinery is totally geared up for the conduct of the forthcoming parliamentary elections. All these Heads of Offices have been directed to report back and remain at their posting places with immediate effect failing which strict disciplinary action will initiated against defaulting officers as per provisions of law.
