In connection with the Parliamentary Elections to the Lok Sabha 2019, Longleng district will be observing a Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Week from April 1 to 6 under the SVEEP Campaign.
According to DIPR, Electronic Voting Machine/Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (EVM/VVPAT) awareness for political parties and NGOs under Longleng will be conducted on April 1 at DC office, Longleng and at IRB Camp Chingtok on April 2.
Activation of Mobile Van, deployment of VG truck from Longleng HQ to Tamlu HQ, will start from April 3. A signature campaign will be conducted at ADC Tamlu on April 4. Distribution of posters and pamphlets from Election Branch on April 5 and Half Marathon race on April 6 from DC office to (and back from) Phom Lampong, Longleng.
