Public Action Committee (PAC) of Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) Wednesday vehemently condemned the “indiscriminate firing” by unknown miscreants on moving trucks April 2, 2019 in Dimapur where a driver and handyman were injured.
In a press note, PAC convenor Vekhosayi Nyekha and co-convenor K Ghokheto said two Manipur bound trucks (UP2 1 BN-2 035 and ASOIKC-0586) were fired upon at around 9 pm near Green Park junction, 5th Mile area with 9 mm pistols and sophisticated weapons.
PAC said such “criminal act” has created a fear psychosis in the minds of the peaceful citizens. PAC demanded authorities to probe the incident with all seriousness and apprehend the perpetrators.
PAC has appealed to the public to extend all possible help to curb such criminal activities so peace and tranquility prevail in the society.
