EFSD official said the fire is suspected to have started from a burning candle.
However four fire tenders brought the blaze under control and was able to stop it from getting worse. It was learnt that school uniforms, books and other property were destroyed in the fire.
Although no casualties were reported, two rooms of a private house accommodating a family were destroyed.
