NH-29 LOU wants works stopped in objected areas

NH-29 Land Owner Union (LOU) claimed that individual land owners have requested them to stop road widening works from Purana Bazaar to Chumukidema until a consensus was reached with the government.

In a press note, NH-29 LOU information &publicity secretary Kewetso Kenye stated that any untoward eventuality arising out of forceful approach would be unfortunate. LOU therefore, suggested that the government avoid areas where objections were raised for the time being or until the union next meeting with the DC Dimapur.

NH-29 LOU reminded that DC Dimapur during May 8, 2019 meeting with the union along with GBs and chairman assured to convene a separate meeting after May 23, 2019.
