Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Tuensang inaugurated the newly constructed school upgradation building on at school auditorium on May 24, by district education officer (DEO) Tuensang, Renchumi Kikon.
According to DIPR report, DEO expressed appreciation for completion of the building and stated that infrastructure was one of the basic requirements in the endeavour for imparting quality education.
She also congratulated the performance exhibited by the students of the GHSS Tuensang in the recent HSLC and HSSLC examination.
She mentioned particularly the exemplary performance of Sechemla Y Sangtem who emerged as the state subject topper in information technology (vocational).
The programme was chaired by Katienla PGT, special number presented by class 12 (Arts) and welcome address was delivered by principal GHSS Tuensang, S. Imkongsenla Sangtem.
Dedicatory prayer was offered by pastor Sangtam Baptist Lithro, Rev. Dr. T Yanger Sangtam.
