PBCK organises ‘couples seminar’

Three-day “couples seminar” under the theme, “towards a good Christian family” organised by Poumai Baptist Church Kohima (PBCK) at PBCK midland Kohima concluded on Sunday

Resource persons of the seminar were- pastor PBCK Rev. Th. Thaongaolou Rosii, pastor PBC Senapati Ng. David Sha and former pastor MBCCC Imphal, Rev. L. Simon Raomai.    

Speaking at the Sunday service on the topic “Christian home in the changing world”, Pastor Sha said every good thing begins from home and encouraged the Christian family to be directed by God. He cautioned Christian not to be carry away by this contemporary world but stick according to the word of God.     

On May 25, in his message on “parents’ role for building children”, Rev. L. Simon, while referring to a verse Deuteronomy 6: 5-9 from the Bible, urged the parents to teach their children diligently and impressed upon them the word of God. He asked the parents to lead a Godly live so that their children would emulate them and encouraged the parents to impact and influence the children with God’s word.

Earlier, Pastor Ng. David Sha spoke on husband and wife spiritual relationship and a husband’s attitude towards wife while Rev. Simon spoke on husband and wife relationship and wife’s attitude towards husband.     

On the first day, Rev. Th. Thaongaolou Rosii spoke on “towards a good Christian family”. Other highlighted of the seminar included special songs by BYF, women society and others.
