SPC programme held in Mon

In line with the directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs GOI for the implementation of the Student Police Cadet (SPC) programme, the deputy commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K, in the presence of Imnalensa, superintendent of Police Mon handed over an amount of Rs 50,000/- (fifty thousand) to Bithunglo, vice principal, GHSS Mon at DC office chamber on May 27. Out of this amount a sum of Rs. 16,000/- (sixteen thousand)  would be earmarked for teaching aids,  Rs. 24,000/- (twenty four thousand)  for outdoor activities,  Rs. 5,000/- (five thousand) for training and the balance for contingency purposes. SPC programme aims to build bridge between Police and larger community through school students by inculcating values and ethics in them through classes in schools and outside.
