HVSU demands completion of PMGSY road

Following an appeal published in Nagaland Post on May 26 by village councils of Hurong and Hutanger to the contractor for completion of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) road From Kichang to Hutanger via Hurong, Hutanger Village Students’ Union (HVSU) has appealed to the department concerned (PWD R& B) and the contractor to look into the grievances of the villagers and resume construction of the work at the earliest.

Alleging that the contractor had not started the work till date, leading to lots of inconvenience and difficulties for the villagers, failing which, HVSU president Ponji T and general secretary Hoshito in a press release stated that they would be compelled to initiate their own course of action if the contractor failed to initiate work immediately.
