CAS-ICDS training concludes in Chessore, Thonokyu

CAS-ICDS ten-day intensive training was conducted at Chessore and Thonokyu ICDS projects from May 21 to 31. 

A press release from CDPO office stated that, during the training all AWWs were given smart phones to register, monitor, supervise and evaluate the status online. The AWWs are to keep track of the beneficiaries which include children from 0-6 years, adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating mothers to ensure their overall good health and nutrition. 
N. Ekonthung Kikon CDPO at the close of the training lauded the AWW master trainers led by supervisor Khumo Khiamunghan for their tireless efforts in conducting the training. 
He also made special mention of the AWWs of both the projects for their immense zeal and enthusiasm to learn the new digitalised approach of CAS-ICDS. He thanked L. Samuel Konyak SDO (C) Chessore for allowing the department to conduct the training at the guest house.
