Dimapur DLSA holds medical camp at Central Jail

Dimapur District Legal Services Authority (DDLSA), in collaboration with office of chief medical officer (CMO), organized a medical camp at Central Jail, Dimapur on April 29 for the inmates.

A press release from DDLSA project assistant, Sangto Longchar stated that chief judicial magistrate & secretary (DDLSA), Ajongba Imchen addressed the inmates and elaborated on various activities of the legal services authority and urged inmates to avail of the services. Doctors of the camp were Dr. Kheshika, Dr. Chem, Dr. Kaili, supported by nurses and staff from Sovima and Diphupar sub-centres.
Around 100 inmates benefitted from the medical camp. Medication was prescribed and administered according to ailments the patients were suffering from.
