
Department of Under Developed Area (DUDA) guest house located at Kohima re-opened Saturday evening by its advisor N. Bongkhao Konyak during brief programme held at the guest house.
In his address, the advisor acknowledged the state government for granting the guest house fully equipped with modern facilities. He urged the people of ENPO areas to have the sense of belongingness and to use it for maximum benefit of the people from ENPO.
The guest house was an old office building of the SIRD office, taken over by DUDA and started functioning as guest house since 2007.
To provide better facilities and service, the guest house was temporarily closed down for renovation since last August.
After due process of interview conducted by the DUDA guest house management board, the new manager was selected to take charge of the guest house.
Associate pastor for women C. Chenlen pronounced invocation prayer while associate pastor KPBC Paman Buchem chaired the function.
Advisor IPR, SCERT and Village Guards, Toshi Wungtung and DUDA senior officials also attended the re-opening function.
