Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) conducted 40 days chains of prayer from April 1 to May 10, wherein 82 groups from the national workers (NSCN) made up the pray chain.
A press release from CNC general secretary, Rev. Seksim Kasar expressed that it had collectively prayed to forgive the sins of the Nagas, (be it of individual, national, and of Naga people collectively); Heal the land so that Naga unity is realized; Graciously bless the peoples of India and Myanmar for understanding the rights of the Nagas; Bless the Indian leaders and Naga leaders so that the Indo-Naga problem is solved once and for all in an honorable and acceptable manner and to bless the Naga church leaders.
CNC also expressed thanks to programme leaders, caretakers, CAOs, regional secretaries, secretaries of the central government, heads of departments, pastors, chaplains, unit commanders, churches, prayer centres, prayer warriors, organizations and institutions for success of the programme.
