Weekly medical OPD inaugurated

A week medical OPD initiated by Assam Rifles Training Centre and School (ARTC&S) was inaugurated on June 29 at ARTC&S, Shokhuvi. 

The camp was for the medically deprived sections of nearby villages, namely Shokhuvi, Kiyeto, Pimla, Disagaphu and Shitovi of Dimapur district. 

According to Maj Offg SO-1 (Edn), Anshul Sundriyal, Assam Rifles medical team led by Chief Medical Officer, ARTC&S, Commandant, Dr. Aguina Nsarangbe, which aimed to provide medical support to neighbouring villages. 

The medical OPD was inaugurated by DIG, ARTC&S, Brigadier Arjun Segan, in presence of GB’s, veterans, patients and villagers.  The team of doctors and paramedical staff treated a total of 62 persons on the inaugural day and provided free medical checkups and medicines on the spot.

Medical OPD services will be made available every Saturday from 9am to 1 pm.
