Nagaland Olympic Association to celebrate ‘Olympic Day’ in Kohima

DIMAPUR, JUN 4 (NPN)

The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has announced the celebration of Olympic Day on June 23 at IG Stadium, Kohima, promoting the global Olympic values of Move, Learn, Discover under the theme “Together for a Better World.”
In a press release, NOA through its media team informed that the event will feature track races for children aged 8 to 12 years, with a total prize pool of over Rs. 1 lakh. Events are categorized by age and distance: 50 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2015 – 22/06/2016); 80 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2014 – 22/06/2015); 80 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2013 – 22/06/2014); and 100 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2012 – 22/06/2013).
Participants have been asked to report at the venue at 8 am. Registration is now open and the last date of registration is June 17. Participants can register online by scanning the QR code, accessing the link provided, or through the official social media handles of the Nagaland Olympic Association.
Participants may also connect with the Nagaland Olympic Association office in Kohima for offline form.
