
Skill development programme for unemployed youth (batch 30) was inaugurated at Don Bosco Tech AIDA centre on August 21 with Dimapur Naga Students Union (DNSU) president, Sedevilie Angami as special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Sedevilie expressed happiness that the trainees were helped to develop not only domain skills but also their personality.
He reminded the trainees that with hard work they would become successful.
Brother Sunny, regional head Don Bosco Tech Dimapur Region shared about the skill development programme of Don Bosco Tech, which was started in 2010 for the less educated and unemployed youth.
He informed the gathering that Don Bosco Tech AIDA has trained and placed more than 2200 youth.
He also encouraged the trainees to “move out of comfort zone and face the challenges”.
Don Bosco Tech provides skill training to unemployed youth in a number of domains across India. Skill development programme for unemployed youth, batch 30 began on July 22 with domains – hospitality, food and beverage service steward and assistant beauty therapist.
Longertemsu anchored the programme while Shone and friends presented a prayer song and welcome speech was delivered by Kevisekho.
