Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Guwahati region conducted Financial Literacy (FL) programme at Government Higher Secondary School, Phek on August 21.
A press release from vice principal, GHSS, Phek, Kewetshete Wezah, stated that assistant general manager, RBI, Gautam Dhar, shared about different types of bank accounts and functions of the bank, while manager, RBI, Amitabh Pande, spoke on security features of currency notes. Manager, Lead Bank SBI, Phek Birjeet Singh, coordinated the programme and was attended by students and staff of GHSS Phek.
Quiz session was held after the programme and bumper gifts were awarded to winning students. Reserve Bank of India, Guwahati Region donated one set of computer and sports goods to the school, the release stated.
