
Ten-day wide-ranging and rigorous annual training camp of No 1 Nagaland Air Squadron NCC culminated on July 26 at Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
More than 280 cadets from all over Nagaland attended the camp.
A press release by NCC stated that during the camp, various training activities such as tent pitching, rifle shooting, aero modelling, career counselling, guest lectures, ground training lectures, sports competitions, pre flight training etc. were conducted.
Addressing the cadets during his visit on July 24, group commander, brigadier SS Dhankhar, emphasised the importance of public speaking skills to climb up the ladder of success.
Culmination of the camp was marked by cultural programme on July 25 with PHSD principal Kaini Khekho Kikon and administrator, Bithungo Kikon as guests of the event.
In her address, Kaini Khekho Kikon complimented the cadets for the wonderful display of Naga culture through their enthralling performances. She advised the cadets to be passionate about whatever they intend to do and excel in it.
