
Consumer Forum Tening Town (CFTT) has asked Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to clarify as to why the company has not been able to remedy the “network crisis” in Peren and Tening.
In a press release, CFTT president, A Sibo Zeliang and secretary, Ditalabo Rentta, reminded the company that during the protest staged by Tening Students Union (TSU) on February 8, 2019 against bad connectively, the company assured to connect the two stations by installing direct line fibre optic cable within 45 days.
Despite its assurance, Consumer Forum Tening Town lamented that BSNL has not initiated any work to address the network problem. The forum has therefore, asked the company to clarify as to why the assurance has not been fulfilled.
