
Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM), Block Mission Management Unit for Kohima Block was launched by Kohima deputy commissioner, Thejawelie Gregory Sote at Kohima Village Council hall on Friday.
During the launching programme, Thejawelie spoke on the importance of rural stakeholders in implementing various government programmes at the grassroots level.
He said rural upliftment programmes initiated by the central or state governments have clear vision and objectives, but was up to the people who either let it flourish or make a liability of such programmes.
He further called upon the gathering to be more pro-active and committed while accepting rural upliftment programmes and to create sustainable community institutions in the long run. ADPM-DMMU Kohima Keneivole Richa gave an overview on NRLM, DPO-cum-DPM,DRDA Kohima Chubaneken, COO,NSRLM Menuoneituo Chadi, and BPM-SVEP Selabeituo Theünuo, also spoke during the occasion.

The launching programme was chaired by Vitsu Yhome, Block Programme Manager, Kohima block while vote of thanks was proposed by Mesuhe Zao, AC-Kohima Block.
