Power department has informed that there would be power shutdown in parts of Chumoukedima town w.e.f. August 5, 2019 from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. on all days except on Sundays. In a press note, executive engineer, (Elec div Chumoukedima), stated that the scheduled shutdown was likely to continue till the end of the month. The shutdown has been necessitated to carry out power line shifting works due to four-lane works between Dimapur-Chumoukedima.
