Petrol becomes cheaper, no change in diesel price

Following the daily revision in retail fuel rates, petrol prices fell by 7-11 paise while diesel prices remain stagnant for the fourth successive day across major cities in the country on Friday. 

Diesel in Dimapur is retailing at Rs 63.80 a litre, no change in price compared with Thursday’s price. Petrol price was decreased by 7 paise to Rs 70.68 a litre as against Rs 70.75 a litre on Thursday.

In the state capital, Kohima, petrol price was decreased by 8 paise to Rs. 71.48 a litre as against Rs. 71.56 a litre on Thursday. While diesel remained unchanged at Rs. 64.41 per litre. Petrol price in Delhi was decreased by 11 paise to Rs 72.69 a litre as against Rs 72.80 a litre on Thursday while diesel remained unchanged at Rs 66 a litre.
