Social work held in Kohima, Dimapur

As part of maintaining their adoption area under the Kohima Smart City Development Limited, NGOs conducted a social work at old MLA hostel junction Kohima. 
The social work was organised by Kohima Cable Association, Real Tel and Symbiosis (both internet service providers) on Saturday morning. 
The other organisations like Area’s Vegetable Vendors, Local Taxi Drivers and Ao Baptist Church members also extended their cooperation by cleaning the footbridge and surrounding areas from Y-Junction till TCP gate. Hundreds of members joined the mass social work with brooms, machetes, water and other equipments.  
Mass social work at Niu Cololy: In Dimapur, mass social work organised by Niu Colony Council was conducted on August 3. 
A press release from Niu Colony Council stated that, during the social work, trees interfering with electric wires were removed, potholes/cracks on the road cemented and drainage cleaned and expanded with help of JCB to ensure free flow of water and to avoid flooding.
GBs and council extended thanks to DMC for providing JCB and two dumper trucks and also the colony public for success of the social work.
