LYO condemns

Lhisemia Youth Organization (LYO) has condemned the despicable act of rape committed by one Vishun Sahani on a 5 year old in New Secretariat area Kohima on July 24.

A condemnation note issued by LYO president Khriesazo Liezietsu and general secretary Kekhrielelie Tseikha stated that the organisation will not tolerate such incidents and warned the culprit that if he was ever found in LYO jurisdiction again, he will face severe consequences.
LYO also warned that guarantors to be careful and not to randomly attest the ILP of labourers without any second thought.“Stringent measures will be adopted to check ILP holders and their guarantors within LYO jurisdiction and both will be held equally accountable for any violation of rules,” the release stated.
It also informed that the organisation will continue to enforce the standing order on prohibition of Illegal Bangladeshi Immigrants (IBIs) from being engaged as manual labourers or domestic helpers, running business, plying taxi, renting houses, etc. within its jurisdiction.
In this connection, all the colonies under LYO jurisdiction have been informed to cooperate and report suspicious cases in the interest of public welfare and safety.
