Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), ‘gen’ Tavecho Lala, C-in-C Naga Army FGN has expressed deep grief and shock on the demise of “major general” B. S. Hrai, a member of national defence advisory board (NDAB) on October 27 at 4 Mile Dimapur.
FGN stated that ‘major gen’ B. S. Hrai son of Seiba, Veymai village Shepoumarmth region joined Naga Army on August 28, 1968 and faithfully served the nation till his last breath. The condolence message stated that he was a true patriot and a recipient of long service certificate, national service certificate and military cross (MC).
FGN further added that his sudden demise was an irrecoverable loss and a vacuum created to the nation and community, but his true sacrifice and patriotic service rendered to the nation shall always remain alive in the history of the Naga nation. FGN further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
