A one-day training on protocol of custom hiring centre for CSPs and VLO livelihoods Sub-committee was conducted at Tuli town hall on October 28, organised by DAY-NSRLM, DRDA Mokokchung, as part of annual action plan for financial year 2019-2020. A press release from DFS (NSLRM), DRDA, Takalemba Jamir, stated that resource persons for the programme were DFS (NSRLM), Takalemba Jamir, DFS (NSRLM), Purlemla Jamir, AC, Sungtiwaza and AC, Alemongla Pongen.
The mission aimed to establish and avail 10 custom hiring centre/community managed tool banks, enabling small and marginal farmers to get access to farm equipment and services.
The participants were educated on rules and procedures over the functioning of the custom hiring centre. A total of 50 participants attended the programme.
