BAN warns traders against price hike

Reacting to rumours that there would be a hike in price of essential and food commodities in the market in the event of breakdown of the ongoing peace process, the Business Associations of Nagas (BAN) has appealed to all the traders not to take advantage of the current political situation in Nagaland to their individual advantage. BAN through its media cell warned all the food and essential commodities traders that manipulation of price in the market would not be tolerated. Asserting that now was the time to stand collectively in the face of any crisis, BAN has pledged not to take undue advantage whatsoever as a Naga business community.
