Career seminar-cum-education fair

“Confluence: A Career to Smart Career Choices”, a career seminar-cum-education fair, was inaugurated by ANPSA (Central) president, Nini Sekhose, on November 1, at Covenant Hall, Christian Higher Secondary (CHSS), Dimapur.

A press release by CHSS, Dimapur, vice principal, Patricia Zhimomi stated that the event was an initiative of CHSS career club, organized with the objective to bridge the gap in the education curriculum and in the fast changing world, and to equip the students to the trending careers globally. 

At the launching programme, Sekhose encouraged the students to give to the community through the career they choose and also to contribute to a peaceful society for “education is the first victim when there is no peace.” 

Earlier, welcome note was delivered by CHSS principal, S. Moatemsu Walling. 

The resource persons for the two-day event were Rohini Nageshaa Rao (Consultant, Harper Collins); Zubeno Mozhui (Director, Hope Centre of Excellence); Dr. Sagar Gulati (Director TERii, Kurukshetra; and Prof. Ujjwal K. Chowdhury (Pro Vice Chancellor, ADAMAS University). 

Ten universities and institutions including Terii, Assam Downtown University, Rai University, ADAMAS University, JBIT,HMSIT, Alpine Concern, Tetso College, SRM Sikkim and KL University and 23 schools and colleges of Dimapur were participating in the confluence.
