FCC of CSS hold sensitisation on substance abuse

Family Counselling Center (FCC) of Care and Support Society (CSS) organised a sensitisation programme on “women & child and substance abuse” at Women Police Station, Mokokchung on September 30. 

A press release from CSS managing director, Imchawati Kichu stated that, FCC counsellor, Zululemla Imchen briefly highlighted on the works and functioning’s of FCC and the activities undertaken. During a brief session on Childline 1098 Mokokchung, counsellor Asanaro Kichu, summarized on the functions undertaken by Childline 1098. Imyepong, programme manager of targeted intervention spoke about the prevalence and effects of injecting drug use.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Imchawati Kichu and also gave introduction to the different programme of CSS. Welcome speech was delivered by officer in-charge Women Police, Imlichila Pongen. The programme was attended by officer in charge women police, officer in charge Traffic, Mokokchung and police personnel.
