Upgrade ITIs: Imnatiba to MSDE

Advisor Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Imnatiba has appealed to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to upgrade and modernise all the existing Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Nagaland.

A press release by PRO (IPR), Nagaland House, New Delhi, Kuolie Mere stated that the advisor made this appeal, while speaking at the State Skill Development Minister Conclave on September 30 at Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra in New Delhi.
Imnatiba pointed out that as part of Government of India’s Act East Policy, infrastructural development was taking place in the North East connecting with the ASEAN countries as the region served as a huge corridor for such mega dreams.
He said once this vision was realised then the region will be attracting lots of investors to set up factories and industries.
But the advisor raised concern on whether the region will have enough skilled man power to meet the pace of the industrial development in the near future.
In order to meet the demand, Imnatiba said entrepreneurs should be promoted to contribute in the ASEAN highway.
