PCC & VHHSS, GHS Chozuba commemorate 50th NSS Day

NSS unit, Patkai Christian College (PCC) in collaboration with the NSS unit, Vision Home Higher Secondary School (VHHSS) commemorated the 50th NSS Day on September 24. 

Bendang, NSS programme officer, PCC addressing the formal session, stressed on the motto, “Not me, but you” and implored all volunteers to continue with their service in every way. Student volunteers shared their experiences and acclaimed the value of service procured while in NSS. Other programme officers also lauded the volunteers for their unremitting dedication to the cause of NSS. 
The second session proceeded with volunteers of Patkai Christian College and Vision Home Higher Secondary School competing in the twin events of volleyball and football. PCC emerged as the winner. 
GHSS Chozuba: GHSS Chozuba also organised NSS Day on September 24 with Nutavoyi Rhakho, PGT (Philo) as the speaker, who is also the 1st PO NSS of the fold.
A press release from GHSS Chozuba stated that, the programme was chaired by Adeno, PGT (Pol. Sc) and short address was delivered by the present PO NSS Choz unit, Angelo Pfithu.
Shothatolu and Thujovelu pronounced opening prayer and closing prayer respectively.
After the programme, the NSS volunteers conducted cleanliness drive.
