Kikruma Students Union Kohima (KSUK) observed its 40th session-cum-freshers social at Ura Academy, Kohima on Saturday.
A release from KSUK stated that PA to minister for Planning, Coordination, Evaluation and Parliamentary Affairs, Chikrokhoyo Kezo graced the occasion as the guest speaker. He advised the students to be smart, sincere and efficient in their work adapting to the new technologies in order to excel in their career. He pointed out that managing their time was important in students life and also to give justice to their work.
Kezo viewed that adopting to live in peace was the key and urged the students to be peace makers, while also exhorting them to be equipped with different skills in order to excel in their career. He reminded the students to be law abiding citizens and adviced them to do away with violence.
During the events, the HSLC topper 9, Kreyo Kezo and other students were felicitated.
Presidential address was delivered by KSUK president Kuzuveto Puro and special song was presented by Suri Puro and Nepralu Puro.
The new tenure for KSUK executives was also appointed and led by Thujove Tunyi as president, Potsolu Kezo as vice-president and Mulukho Puro as general secretary.
