District health society (DHS) Wokha organised RCH health camp at N Longidang village on October 15.
A press release from CMO office district media officer Chothanu stated that addressing the beneficiaries, Dr. C. W. Tungoe, CMO Wokha emphasized on the importance of undergoing regular health checkup. He also informed the beneficiaries to avail Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY scheme.
The health talks on importance of using iodine salt and RBSK were given by MOs. More than 161 beneficiaries avail free health check up, lab test on blood sugar, Haemoglobin, malaria and 11 copper T insertions were done. Other activities such as free distribution of medicines and distribution of information education communication materials on breastfeeding, immunization, NCD and pregnancy care were also carried out. Longtsuman, village chairman thanked the medical department for organising the camp. DIO, Deputy CMO, ZLO, MOs and staff of medical department were present during the health camp.
