Kuki Students Organisation Nagaland (KSON) has expressed heartfelt condolences over the sudden demise of Sahlutah Pu Lutjakai Kuki, Ex-IBM of Nagaland at Zion Hospital, Dimapur on October 13.
A condolence note from KSON media cell Seiminngnam stated that, Kukis of Nagaland are bereft of a great leader, and it will be hard for the people to find a person who can fill the shoe of a leader of his stature.
KSON stated that he was one of the Interim Body Member of Nagaland representing the Kukis in 1961-63 and one of the pioneer members of the creation of full-fledged statehood call Nagaland. KSON stated that “His dedication and self-sacrifice in the service of his people remains etched in the mind of every person who has ever got the opportunity to know him.” KSON also expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, and pray that they may find solace and consolation in the knowledge that their family has given a great leader who will never be forgotten.
