District level electronic vaccine intelligence network (eVIN)-cum- Routine Immunization refresher training for cold chain handlers and health workers was held on November 29 at the Conference Hall of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) office Mokokchung.
A press release by the department stated that deputy CMO Mokokchung, Dr Kibangkumba urged the trainers to be sincere and pay special attention to immunization as it was the backbone of the health delivery system. Resource persons SPO UNDP, Kingson Shimray and project officer UNDP, Imli Longkumer imparted training on vaccine preventable disease, planning and conducting immunization, micro plan for immunization and recordings and reporting of HMIS and eVIN etc.
