In the first of its kind in Kiphire district, seven youths have established saloons in Kiphire town on Thursday. One of the saloon was inaugurated by ADC Kiphire, Reny Wilfred, where he encouraged the youths to use the opportunity and set an example to others. He also urged them to utilize it for the benefit of the people. The ADC also asked the people to make use of the saloons. SDO(C) Nyambo, who also spoke at the programme, thanked the ward chairmen for their initiatives. The saloons were also launched in seven wards constructed by the respective Ward’s members. The material for the saloons were sponsored by the Kiphire district administration and initiated by secretary USBLA, Apise Sangtam.
