
A patient attendant’s lodge Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH) building was inaugurated at the vicinity of Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital Mokokchung and district T.B Hospital Mokokchung Majakong Ward on December 12 by State Mission Director DAY- NULM S. Tekatuba Aier as chief guest.
Speaking in the programme, the mission director called upon all the stake holders of the lodge to have a sense of belongingness and responsibilities and framed out the best management policies of the lodge. He requested the committee members to ensure that all the patients from neighboring districts availed the lodge facilities.
According to DIPR, the project was initiated under the scheme, Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH) under the national flagship programme DeendayalAntyoDayaYojana- National Urban Livelihood Mission (DAY-NULM).
Short speeches were delivered by medical superintendent Mokokchung and chairman Majakong ward and vote of thanks by ADC and chairman DUDA Mokokchung W. Manpai Phom.
