WSH reiterates stand against lightning bandhs

Reaffirming its May 2019 resolution at Nuiland, Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has warned against any organization imposing lightning bandh in Sumi inhabited areas under its jurisdiction.

In a press note, WSH media cell stated that the hoho along with all its frontal bodies– Western Sumi Kukami Hoho, Western Sumi Totimi Hoho, Western Sumi Students Union, Western Sumi Youth Front and Western Sumi Games and Sports Association, resolved to deal with strictly against violators.

WSH also said that if any such bandh, like that of NSF’s December 14 bandh, was imposed without consulting the hoho, the WSH would be “compelled to confront it with its youths and volunteers which may turn ugly and will not be held responsible for any consequences.”

“Whatever the issue maybe, disregarding one’s own tribe position and resolution is highly condemnable and an insult which is being viewed seriously,” it added.

Further, WSH said any Sumi leader holding whatsoever post in whatever Naga platform, “will be summoned before the hoho and all its frontal organisations for an explanation for bypassing his or her own tribe’s stand and have to bear the responsibility.”
