A team from the Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) paid a courtesy visit to the DC of Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, at his office chamber on June 5. The union extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed DC, describing him as a dynamic and vibrant administrator and a friend to all. The union also conveyed its full cooperation and support to the district administration in the interest of public service.
The union apprised the DC of its ongoing concerns and submitted a request for alternative office premises in view of the upcoming Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Union (1975–2025). The DC assured the team to explore possible ways to address their grievances. He expressed his appreciation for the union’s widespread presence across the state, calling it a positive sign of unity in today’s increasingly diverse society. The team expressed gratitude for DC’s kind gesture and stated that his positive approach and leadership will continue to be a source of encouragement and inspiration.
