District administration in collaboration with district level centre for women (Mahila Shakti Kendra) felicitated 32 schools for achieving the target of 100 percent transition of girl students from class 5-6, and 7-9 under the banner of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP).
According to DIPR, EAC HQ Mokokchung Sentilong Ozukum graced the occasion and encouraged the school representative to uplift girl child education.
He gave away the awards to 32 schools for achieving the target on December 19 at ADC Planning conference hall, Mokokchung.
