Vacation Bible School conducted in Kiphire

A Weeklong Vacation Bible School was organized at Kiphire by Kiphire Town Baptist Lithron (KTBL), Children’s Ministry from 2 June 25 under the theme, “Get Connected”. Christian Education Supervisor, Lilongla Sangtam was the camp director and Lipise was the convener of the Bible School. A press release by secretary, KTBL, Horiba Sangtam said classes were divided into five groups: beginners, juniors, intermediate, seniors and young adult. On the first day, church elders led by senior pastor, S. Chopongkyu invoked God’s blessings and guidance for the entire program while Lilongla gave a brief introduction to the VBS. The release also added that church elders and volunteers monitored over all activities of the event. More than 2000 Students enrolled and attended the VBS camp and around 100 teachers were deployed as teachers.
