‘Nagaland Says No to Plastic’ continues at Kigwema vill

The Coming Generation- Leading the Lead’s campaign “Nagaland Says No to Plastic” continues with a program held at Kigwema Village on June 30, along with the village councils, church leaders, women society and youth organizations.
The awareness session started with the welcome address given by Kuzole Neihu general secretary of Kigwema youth organization. 
At the awareness session TCG discussed the hazardous effects of plastics on human health, land hazards and air pollution. 
TCG encouraged everyone give up one use plastic bags and rather use cloths bags which are easily available. The village council, church leaders, youth organizations and the women society agreed to play their roles to implement the campaign objective. They also expressed a desire to declare the area a plastic free village. 
Later, vote of thanks was delivered by village council chairman,       Siechale Yhoshii.
