SJC observes Freshers’ day

St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama observed its Freshers’ day on June 29 in the college auditorium.  DC Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan graced the program as the special guest. 
Recollecting his life experiences, he urged the students to set their goals and targets and pursue them with resolve, perseverance and discipline.
Principal of the college, Rev. Dr. Fr. Sebastian Ousepparampil, in his speech emphasized on the need to be sympathetic and helpful human beings despite hardships and difficulties in life.
The principal’s message was followed by a skit titled, “The Miracle of Motivation” performed by the Drama Club.
Earlier, the presidential address was delivered by president of Students’ Council, SJC, Weneizo Mero. The program which was compered by Divito Vese and Tsuknungtula Jamir began with an invocation by Dr. Fr. Philemon.
