Ao Lanur Telongjem Aoyimsen (ALTA) organized a felicitation program for successful students of HSLC and HSSLC, 2018 on June 30 at Panchayat cum Multi Utility Hall, Aoyimsen, Karbi Anglong.
The felicitation program was graced by editor, Tir Yimyim, K. Temjen Jamir as special invitee.
Speaking on the occasion, Temjen encouraged the students by saying that education should not only be a medium to achieve glory or become an officer, but it should be an archway going through which we understand the magnitude of fellowmanship and then help one another. Temjen also congratulated the successful students and their parents and urged the students to be prepared of any kind of eventualities.
Among the program highlights was the felicitation program where the HSLC & HSSLC successful students who were the state toppers, first rankers and others, in the HSLC and HSSLC exam, were conferred certificates and gifts. Also, during the program, director E&M Citisoft Solutions (NE) announced free admissions for the topper and first five division holders for a two month computer course.
The program was chaired by Apong, invocation prayer was pronounced by associate pastor women, Moala, exhortation said by Aoyimsen village council, chairman.
Short speeches were delivered by Ao Students Union Dimapur (ASUD) president, Lanutoshi Aier and director E&M Citisoft solution (NE), Moses Jamir. Special prayer for the students was said by Aoyimsen Baptist Church, pastor, Rev. I. Nochet, special number was presented by Sanen, while vote of thanks was proposed by ALTA president, Chuba and the benediction was said by associate pastor youth, T. Meren Jamir.
