Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has called upon the law enforcing authorities to strictly monitor that only heavy vehicles with 6 wheels are allowed to ply NH 702D Mokokchung-Mariani road as per DC’s order.
A press release from Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry president Tsukti Longkumer has lauded the deputy commissioner Mokokchung for timely intervention of passing an order and taking precautionary step by restricting plying of heavy vehicles and ceiling load carrying capacity tonnage to 12 tons along the recently paved NH 702D Mokokchung-Mariani road citing its deplorable condition.
Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry therefore has appealed that unlike in the past, the order must be adhered to by those in the logistics and transport industries.
