Coordination meet in Wokha

A coordination meeting of head teachers and teachers-in-charge of 49 Government Middle Schools (GMS) and Government Primary Schools (GPS)-cum-teacher’s diary distribution under the establishment of senior sub-divisional education officer (Sr. SDEO) Wokha was conducted here at DC conference hall, Wokha Saturday.

Delivering keynote address, Sr. SDEO Wokha S. Mhonchan Lotha urged the teachers to rededicate themselves towards their noble profession and to give their best during their short time in the service of the people.  Giving examples from his long teaching career, Sr. SDEO Wokha said pure satisfaction comes from total dedication to one’s profession and that all teachers ought to leave good and memorable footprints for others to emulate.
A short interactive session was also held where department officers present satisfactorily clarified various doubts expressed by the head teachers and teachers-in-charge.
Teacher’s diary for the 49 schools were also distributed after the coordination meeting.
GPS Englan teacher-in-charge L. Ezanthung said invocation, JEO Hq. N. Enibemo Yanthan, who chaired the meeting, also delivered welcome address, Ebeni Kithan presented a special number, and AEO Hq. Nchumbemo Ezung proposed vote of thanks at the coordination meeting-cum-teacher’s diary distribution programme.
