Health centre management committee (HCMC) of Chukitong primary health centre (PHC) under the aegis of Nagaland health project (NHP) conducted an outreach OPD to villages and schools under Chukitong range which culminated on February 28 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Chukitong.
A press release from health centre management committee (HCMC) Chukitong stated that, medical team led by medical officer, Dr. Abenthung Murry imparted health talks to students and faculty of JNV. Health talk on various topics were shared by the MO and GNM Grace Yanthan of Chukitong PHC. The medical team exhorted the students to refrain from bad habits and to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Earlier, the team conducted medical camp at Seluku village on February 20. Health awareness camp was also conducted at Baptist School Chukitong on February 25. NHP is a World Bank funded project currently implemented in Nagaland by the department of Health and Family Welfare.
