Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has expressed grief at the untimely demise of late Phushito Awomi, razou peyu of union territory (UT) from Nihoto village under UT on February 29.
A condolence note from NSCN (I-M) through its MIP stated that, late Awomi joined the Naga national service on October 31, 2015 and served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until his demise. NSCN (I-M) stated that his demise has created a void which will be deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, the MIP stated that his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifice for Naga nation ever be cherished by all.
GPRN conveyed its deep condolences to the bereaved family members and pray to the Almighty God to grant his soul eternal peace and rest.
